DESCRIPTION:Kildare Town Community school will host a number of event to mark College Awareness week.  \nCollege Awareness week 22nd-26th November 2021 KTCS Activities.  \nPosters showing Teachers’s alma maters will be displayed on classroom doors.\nCould teachers please spend 5 minutes to tell their classes about the\nUniversity/ College they attended\, How they found it and the benefits of Going to college for them\nThere will be a competition to ‘Guess who went to what college’ on Thursday for students.\nInformation on the Benefits if Going to college will be displayed in the canteen.\nThe library will be open for students’ to view prospectuses and access information.\n6th year students will all have had their Career Guidance interviews before their mentoring meetings the following week.  \nMonday 22nd November\nWaterford IT will make a presentation to 5th years at 10.20am and 6th years at 2pm\nTalk on  CAO HEAR & DARE Application  Talk for 6th years in Guidance room at 1.30pm\nTuesday 23rd November\nTalk on Applying to UCAS  in Guidance room.  Talk for 6th years    at 1.30pm\nThursday 25th November\nCompetition to guess Where KTCS teachers went to Third level\nFriday 26th November & Saturday 27th November\nMaynooth University  Virtual Open day. Students can attend with teacher’s permission at 11.55-1.15pm in IT2.
