DESCRIPTION:Join us for an inspiring seminar with Professor Jan McArthur from Lancaster University\, coinciding with the launch of the School of Education’s Centre for People with Intellectual Disabilities (TCPID) co-learning report\, ‘The Only Thing to Do’\, in collaboration with the School of English\, Trinity College Dublin. \nThe report showcases a pioneering project where students with intellectual disabilities and undergraduate students learnt together in a shared academic space. These students serve as role models\, demonstrating the possibilities of higher education and showing how inclusive learning benefits everyone. \nThrough their experiences\, the seminar highlights how higher education can be a place where all learners thrive\, fostering confidence\, collaboration\, and opportunity. It’s a celebration of potential\, ambition\, and the impact of inclusive practices in opening doors for the next generation of students.
