SUMMARY:National Online Info Evening for Care Experienced / Alternative Care Sector
DESCRIPTION:As part of College Awareness Week\, University of Galway Access Centre will host a national\, online information evening on 24 November\, lead by Dr Róisín Farragher for those in care\, those with care experience and anyone who works in the alternative care sector to come together to discuss the educational supports and the wide range of services that are available. The event will include speakers from universities\, advocacy organisations and foster/residential organisations. \nTopics covered will include: HEAR and DARE Schemes\, Access Programmes\, 1916 Bursary\, FET and Mature Student entry routes and other support services that are available to care experienced young people.
