To promote College Awareness Week, LCFE will host the following events:

Monday 24 November
Visit by Minister Jan O’Sullivan to LCFE to launch College Awareness Week
Advanced Media learners to host a two hour radio show on LCFE iMix radio station to include an interview with Minister Jan O’Sullivan. The radio show will also include interviews with LCFE current and past learners talking about their college experience.
Intercultural Event – LCFE Canteen – 10.30 – 13.00. World Music Session with Open Mic and International Cuisine

Monday 24 – Friday 30 November
Visits to LCFE by students from a number of second level schools in the area
CAO Workshops – these workshops will look at the CAO application process

Wednesday 26 – Saturday 29 November
The Cecilian Musical Society will run their production of “Grease” at the Lime Tree Theatre, Limerick. This production will showcase costumes created by learners from the LCFE Fashion Department. Grease is running for each of the four nights with tickets available at the Box Office 061 774774.

Thursday 27 November

Study Skills Workshop for MLXX Learners. This workshop will give learners the knowledge and skills to help improve their submission rates, grades, confidence and attitude

Local Fashion Designer and past LCFE graduate Stephen Lynch will host a Fashion Workshop for learners in the LCFE Fashion Department
