3rd year Mentoring with 6th year Prefects on Subject Choice – starting the conversation
1st year Poster Competition ‘Design your own College Campus’ and other CAW fun activities with the support of TY mentors
Past students talking to 5th year students about their College journey, experience & subject relevance – English & Business classes
Careers Fair aimed at 2nd year, TY and 6th year students – meet with local professionals & college students from various career backgrounds
6th year Talk from DIFE on the diverse range of PLC courses and progression routes
6th year talk with Irish Life on their ‘Young People in IT’ initiative – new Learn & Earn degree programme
Drop Everything & Talk About College – held twice during the week to get the conversation going with different teachers
Senior Cycle CAW Info Stand – held at lunch time with quizzes and informal conversations around college/PLC’s/apprenticeships/etc
