“My College Story”
Teachers: Teachers take 10 minutes of their class time to speak about their college experience and share some advice with students about college, sharing something that they wish someone had told them before they started college.
Display: A wall display where teachers and staff share their own college journeys, degrees, and career paths .Encouraging students to interact and ask questions about these experiences throughout the week.
Guidance Drop-In Session:
A drop-in Q&A with the guidance counselor for any student questions on career paths, specific colleges, or applications
College Corner:
A number of dedicated College Corners in the school library and other key locations in the school with brochures, prospectuses, and information about different colleges and courses.
Future Self
Encourage students to write a letter to their future selves who is in college.
College Talks
Representatives from universities, technological universities, and local colleges to give talks to students
