CAW(College Awareness Week) ITINERARY 2021 22-26th November

 
Senior cycle students  (priority given to 6th year students)

Different colleges visiting to conduct lunchtime talks each day of CAW  
UCD(Monday)-Demo room
NUIM (Tuesday) -Demo Room
DUNBOYNE CFE PLC college(Wednesday) -Demo Room
DCU (Thursday)-Demo Room

1st year students  
College bingo sheet for students to fill in digitally. -Will be sent to tutors. Prizes for first few students back with a completed Bingo sheet  will be awarded at assembly on Friday.
  
All students  
Students will be invited to create a TikTok dance as part of Trinity Access promotion of CAW.

Fun facts on a college will be posted on schoology each morning by our CFES student ambassadors for the school.
    

Students are invited to add to a discussion on our school learning platform-Schoology called ‘There is a college for everyone’.
  
TUTOR ACTIVITY: Students will be asked to make a pic collage of a role mdoel of theirs/inspirational person. A collage of these will be hung up on our CFES board.

Senior students
NOVVA platform will be holding a virtual careers fair for all TY, 5th and 6th year students on Thursday 25th from 12 30-3. Students will log in on rotation along with their parents.

Mentoring: Morning breakfast will take place on Monday 22nd for staff mentors to meet their 6th year mentees for the first time. Food will be provided for staff

6TH Year Past Pupils Q and A will take place during the week with 6th year careers classes.

Sixth year students & mentors  

  Drop in CAO Clinic will run at Friday of CAW at breaktime in Guidance counsellors room for any 6th year student who has any qs regarding the CAO/any student who wishes to register for their CAO application.

LCA/1ST YEAR SPHE

Students will be invited to create a poster of the logo of their favourite university/college to be stuck up on the CFES corridor.

Students will also create pic collages around a Glossary of University terms. These university terms/pic collages will be printed and stuck up on the CFES corridor.
