Education has been at the heart of EPIC’s work this year. From the first days of primary school to the transition into college, we have focused on how care-experienced children and young people encounter the education system – the barriers they face, the supports that help, and the opportunities that can transform their futures.

At this conference, attendees will hear directly from care-experienced students, researchers, educators, and policymakers about how we can create learning environments where every young person in care can thrive.

The programme also includes interactive panels and discussions designed to generate practical strategies and collaborative solutions. Additional speakers and sessions will be announced in the coming weeks, adding even more perspectives and insights to the day.
