TUS Study Club – Offsite (Limerick Tutorial College)

TUS Midwest Access Service are committed to the provision of a Study Club for secondary school students who experience educational and socio-economic
disadvantage. Study Clubs provide young people with additional academic support in a structured manner. It also creates a link with students/schools/parents in the community and reminds them that TUS is a viable option for their future education by offering support pre-entry.
So far this current academic year, the study club has continued to offer in-person classes to enable the provision of more choice and accessibility support options for students. TUS works in partnership with Limerick Tutorial College to offer in-person subject specific academic support to Study Club members in subjects outside of mathematics (TUS study club hold their own Math’s support classes on campus with a private tutor on Wednesday evenings weekly in higher and ordinary level senior cycle Math’s). Classes take place on Saturdays in Limerick Tutorial College and will run again this Saturday duri8ng college awareness week.
